Latifah Munirah Kamarudin, Ph.D., is an awarded Top Research Scientist in Malaysia, specializing in wireless sensing and artificial intelligence. As the head of the Center of Excellence for Advanced Sensor Technology (CEASTech), she pioneers non-contact methods for continuous vital-sign monitoring using AI, with a specific focus on benefiting ageing societies. Additionally, she serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of Yamanashi, co-supervising students and conducting collaborative research. Latifah fosters international collaborations and leads dual-degree programs between UniMAP and global universities. She has secured more than RM10 million in international and national funding, coordinated sponsorship for over 80 students, and founded iDeria, a startup dedicated to R&D product commercialization. Latifah has a publication record of 178 articles, accumulating a citation count of 1285 and an H-Index of 20.
